About the channel
Funding shows which side of the futures market is crowded: when it is positive, longs pay shorts; when it is negative, shorts pay longs. Every minute the scanner checks the current funding of every USDT-M perpetual, normalised to 8 hours so that 1h, 4h and 8h coins compare fairly, and posts only anomalies: ±0.1% per 8h or more (ten times the usual 0.01%), a flip from positive to negative or back, a jump of 0.05 percentage points since the last payment, or funding that goes against a 3% price move within an hour. Every 4 hours it also posts the most positive and most negative coins. The channel is informational: crowded funding can last for days.
What you get
- Extreme funding, sign flips, spikes and price/funding divergences — the strongest event per coin
- Funding per payment interval and per 8h, the previous payment and the change
- Price and open interest change over the last hour, and the time of the next payment
- Share of longs among top traders and among all accounts, flagged when they differ by 15 points or more
- Top 5 positive and negative funding every 4 hours; a coin repeats no sooner than in 4 hours and only with something new
